Shredded Beef Sandwiches (with Horseradish Spread, Giardiniera, and Au Jus)

Shredded Beef Sandwiches with Horseradish Spread, Au Jus, and Picked Veg.

Shredded Beef:
3-4 lb. Chuck Roast, with salt & pepper
2Tbs. Butter
3Tbs. Olive Oil
Sear, 5 minutes on each side Med/High Heat

In Crockpot: add 
2 cups Beef Broth (or 2 cups water & 2 tsp bullion)
1/2 cup Red Wine
add the seared beef, 
cover with 5 cloves crushed garlic (or as many as your hear tells you)
cook on High for 3 hours or Low for 5
shred in pot

Au Jus:
2 cups Beef Broth 
1 cup drippings from crockpot
2Tbs. Worcestershire Sauce
splash of Red Wine
simmer

Horseradish Spread:
1/2 cup Sour Cream
2Tbs. Mayo
2Tbs. Prepared Horseradish
1 tsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
salt, pepper, chives to taste
mix & chill in the fridge

toast the buns & load them up
