Tomato Bisque Soup
Ingredients:
1 onion, diced
3 to 4 stalks celery, diced
4 large cloves of garlic
pinch of salt
sautee those in a pan with olive oil until translucent
add:
4 cups of water
4 tsp. bullion
1 large can (28 oz) of tomatoes
3 Tbs of rice
1/2 tsp. paprika
pinch of red pepper
let that boil on medium for 35-40 minutes
take that off the heat and use an inversion blender or a standard blender to liquify your soup without burning yourself (good luck!)
return to heat low,
add 1 cup of heavy whipping cream
serve with yummy focaccia bread, panini, or grilled cheese pesto tomato sandwiches.
