Wassail Concentrate (recipe from Allison McCurdy)
NOTE FROM ALLISON: This recipe always reminds me of mom. I like to make this in November and keep in my fridge for cold mornings or late nights when you need something warm and toasty
ingredients:
12 oz can frozen orange juice
12 oz can frozen lemonade
12 oz can frozen apple juice
1 cup water
2 cups sugar
16 oz cranberry jelly
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves
directions:
Combine all in a sauce pan and cook until sugar dissolves. If cranberry jelly is lumpy use a hand mixer or put in a blender. This recipe is a concentrate, to dilute mix 1 part concentrate to 3 parts water. (single serving: 1/4 c. wassail, 3/4 c. water - 1 minute 30 seconds in the microwave, perfect)
