Tomato Soup

Tomato Soup

4 slices bacon, diced
2 carrots, diced
1/2 onion, diced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 Tbs tomato paste
1 1/2 Tbs flour
4 c chicken broth
28 oz canned tomatoes
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1 bay leaf
salt/pepper

directions: cook the bacon, carrots, and onions until tender. Add in garlic, tomato paste til fragrant. Add in flour, tomatoes & chicken broth. Add seasonings, blend up in blender or inversion blender. Let simmer for 30 minutes.
